The Interfaith Alliance Hawaii is an organization of members from various religious groups. It has a board of directors meeting monthly at the Honpa Hongwanji on Pali Highway. Its current membership includes Christians (Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopal, Inclusive Orthodox, United Methodist, United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ), Religious Friends (Quaker), Buddhist (Jodo Shin) and is open to other membership. There is an advisory board which includes some of the denominations just listed plus Reformed Judaism and Islam.
Currently meetings are at noon on the third Friday of the month. This has contributed to the gaps in membership and is under consideration.
The organization has an annual public dinner at which awards are made to those in the ecumenical/interreligious community who have made a difference.
The internal organization of the board is formed by committees which focus on various segments of the community.
